Downloading new models#

CivitAI#

1. Sign up for CivitAI if you don't have an account yet - https://civitai.com/login?returnUrl=/
2. Navigate to https://civitai.com/user/account
3. Scroll down to the "API Keys" section (should be near the bottom).
4. Click on "Add API key".
5. Enter any name and press "Save".
6. Copy the presented API key.
7. Open Metastable, go to the Settings tab, click on Downloads.
8. Paste your API key into the "CivitAI API key" text field. Changes will be saved automatically.
9. Attempt to download CivitAI models again. (Don't forget to dismiss the failed downloads from the download queue.)

HuggingFace#

1. Sign up for HuggingFace if you don't have an account yet - https://huggingface.co/join
2. Log into your HuggingFace account.
3. Navigate to https://huggingface.co/settings/tokens/new?canReadGatedRepos=true&tokenType=fineGrained
4. Enter any name for the token.
5. Scroll down and click on "Create token".
6. Copy the displayed token, and click on "Done".
7. Open Metastable, go to the Settings tab, click on Downloads.
8. Paste your API key into the "HuggingFace API key" text field. Changes will be saved automatically.
9. Attempt to download HuggingFace models again. (Don't forget to dismiss the failed downloads from the download queue.)
